How We Work Together
Different projects need different commercial structures. Here are the four ways we typically engage. We'll suggest the right fit on the discovery call.
Fixed-Price Project
Defined scope, defined deadline, defined price.
- Best for
- Well-understood projects where requirements can be locked down before we start.
- How it works
- After the discovery call, you receive a written proposal with scope, milestones, deliverables, and a single fixed price. Out-of-scope changes are quoted separately so there are no surprises.
- Typical range
- DKK 35.000 – 250.000 · 2 – 12 weeks
- Trade-off
- Less flexibility once scope is signed off — changes mean change orders.
Time & Materials
Hourly or daily rate, billed monthly.
- Best for
- Evolving work, ongoing improvements, or when scope genuinely can't be locked down.
- How it works
- Hours are tracked transparently and reported each month with a description of what was done. You can pause, scale, or stop with reasonable notice.
- Typical range
- DKK 1.100 – 1.400 / hour · DKK 8.500 – 11.000 / day
- Trade-off
- Total cost less predictable than fixed price.
Retainer
Guaranteed monthly capacity. Predictable, prioritised, discounted.
- Best for
- Clients who need ongoing development, support, or someone reliably on call.
- How it works
- Reserve a fixed number of hours per month (5h / 10h / 20h). Unused hours roll forward one month. Priority response on tickets and emails.
- Typical range
- From DKK 5.500 / month
- Trade-off
- Best value when you actually use the hours — under-utilisation costs the same.
Advisory / One-Off
A single architecture review, code audit, or strategy session.
- Best for
- You don't need someone to build — you need a senior second opinion before making a big call.
- How it works
- We agree on the question (e.g. 'is this architecture going to scale?'). I review what you send over, then we meet for 60–90 minutes. You get a written summary afterwards.
- Typical range
- DKK 6.500 – 18.000 per engagement
- Trade-off
- Limited to advice — implementation is a separate engagement.
